Barb and I were at the store the other day, and the nice lady offered me some Skippy Natural Peanut Butter... it was awesome, and only 2 bucks a jar! Then I looked at the ingredients:
Peanuts
Palm Oil
Salt
Sugar
This was some of the best peanut butter I've ever had, and it made me wonder... why didn't they just make it this way all along... rather than all the stuff in regular Peanut Butter:
Roasted Peanuts, Sugar, Partially Hydrogenated Vegetable Oils (Cottonseed, Soybean and Rapeseed) to Prevent Separation, Salt.
As health concerns about sodium continue to rise, food manufacturers are scrambling to figure out how to reduce it -- without sacrificing taste.

The Blind Side is now out on DVD, and one person who is happy about that is
Five For Fighting's John Ondrasik. He contributed one of his latest singles,
"Chances," to the soundtrack and was thrilled to be involved in the Sandra
Bullock-flick about a rising football star.
Ondrasik tells us he hopes that there will be more films like The Blind Side in the years to come:

A baseball game was called off after three innings last week when the Three Lakes Bluejays ran up a 45-0 lead against Phelps High School. Three Lakes stole 11 bases in the first inning!
"It was kind of embarrassing. I feel bad," Bluejay's coach Jeff Liebscher told the local newspaper.
It's not that Three Lakes is a great team... they entered the game with a 1-2 record, and lost their previous game 15-0. On the other hand, from all indications, the Phelps High School team is just really, really bad.
What do you think... poor sportsmanship or just was Phelps just that awful?
