The Baby-Sitters Club

Ok, I admit I was a HUGE reader as a kid.  I still love to read but I guess time isn’t as ample as it once was so I don’t find myself reading as much as I’d like to.  As a young girl in Jr. High I would get so excited when the book order sheets would come in and it would have a new edition of my favorite series:  Sweet Valley Twins, Sweet Valley High and of course The Baby-Sitter Club!  Good news for those of you who are nodding your heads with me:  The Baby-Sitters Club is back!  The series ran from 1986-2000 when the books went out of print.  Scholastic just announced that it will reissue two slightly rewritten books!  The main author, Ann M. Marin, will also publish a “prequel”, The Summer Before, letting us in on the summer before the girls formed the club.  I must admit, part of the girl in me is excited to read the ‘Prequel”!
