TOWN OF GRANT, Wis. (WSAU) – A Loyal man is free on bond after prosecutors charged him with setting a house in the town of Grant on fire early Tuesday.
Timothy Olson is charged with one count of arson. He is free on a $5,000 signature bond pending an initial appearance October 29th.
The sheriff’s department says Olson knew the homeowner.
Firefighters were called to the home just after 4 a.m. The house was fully engulfed in flames but no one was home at the time.
Fire crews called in the county’s fire investigation task force after the cause of the fire appeared suspicious. They determined it was intentionally set.
