(Allegan, MI - WHTC News) - A 51-year-old Grand Rapids woman who allegedly led police on a 40-mile, high-speed chase south on US-131 from Wayland to Schoolcraft over the weekend is in the Allegan County Jail. Rennell Anne Doyle awaits arraignment on resisting arrest and fleeing and eluding charges. Police aren’t saying why she was trying to escape them, although she has previous speeding and open booze container citations on her record.
