TERRE HAUTE (WIBQ)- An 18 year old man was in court yesterday after crashing his truck into a utility pole early Monday morning. Police say the driver, James Pizzola, claimed he fell asleep at the wheel. But, police say he was unsteady and could smell burnt marijuana coming from his truck.
Pizzola was arrested for driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.The accident happened at Lafayette and 8th Avenue in Terre Haute just before 4:00 AM.
