LANSING, Mich (WLMI) Two Lansing parents are due in court on accusations that they beat a 73-year-old school crossing guard after he tried to break up a fight between their 6-year-old son and a 7-year-old classmate. Police say the boys got in a fight at Lyons Elementary School last Wednesday. Police say the next morning, 29-year old Shareka McKinney and 26-year old Darell Livingston told their son to beat the other boy. Both face misdemeanor charges in the attack.
