UNDATED (WSAU) Another 'Never Forgotten Honor Flight' is leaving from Central Wisconsin today. Onboard are 98 World War II veterans and the volunteer guardians. They're making a one-day trip to Washington D.C. to see the monuments that were built in honor of our war heroes.
This is the third honor flight from Central Wisconsin, and the program is run entirely through donations and local fundraising.
Vets tour Arlington National Cemetery and The Mall in Washington D.C.
Many of the vets have never seen Washington.
Another honor flight is planned from Central Wisconsin later this year.
