UNDATED (WSAU) Green Bay Packers player Desmond Bishop didn't meeting President Obama this afternoon in Washington. The rest of the team went to the White House to be honored for the Super Bowl championship last winter. But Bishop posted online that he won't be there meeting the president because he accidentally left his ID on the airplane. He says it will just give him more motivation to win another title.
When the Packers open their preseason against Cleveland Saturday, there could be a lot of new faces on the defensive side of the ball. Several expected starters sat out of practice Thursday. Both starting cornerbacks, Charles Woodson and Tramon Williams, were among the players to stay on the sidelines.
