LANSING, MI (WHTC) - The Stanton-based law firm of Miel and Carr has filed a complaint with the Michigan Judicial Tenure Commission, asking for an investigation into a December 2nd ruling by Hudsonville District Court Judge Kenneth Post that held one of the firm’s attorneys, Scott Millard, in contempt. Millard had advised a 20-year-old client to not answer a question about past drug use during an arraignment, and Post had the lawyer jailed when he refused to change his position. The law firm wants the county’s Circuit Court to take over the case.
