A non-profit organization that hopes to send World War Two veterans in this area to see the Washington D-C monument that honors their service to our country is in need of donations. Honor Flight Northland has scheduled its first trip to Washington on May 14th and is about 90 thousand dollars short of their fundraising goal. There is no charge for veterans who sign up for the flights. Time is running short in providing this service as over a thousand World War Two vets in the U-S, most now in their 80's and 90's, die each day.
