KALAMAZOO, (WKZO) -- A couple from Kalamazoo spent their Sunday in the County Jail after they were caught with a little marijuana and a big handgun. The driver was pulled over for speeding on Stadium Drive just before 1AM Sunday by PSO Doug Hubbell, who could smell the odor of Marijuana when they rolled down the window.
He asked about it and the female passenger admitted there was some in the car. A search turned up the grass and a loaded .32 caliber revolver, which the driver had handed to his female passenger just before the traffic stop.
They were both arrested for possession and a firearm violation. The prosecutor will sort out the specific charges.
