The next time Van Halen comes around on tour, you may want strut run into to your local arena or stadium sporting a new pair of Eddie Van Halen -inspired sneakers. The guitarist's EVH Gear website has just introduced a line of laceless shoes featuring striped designs based on Eddie's trademark "Frankenstein" guitars. The slip-on footwear comes in three color-schemes: black and white; black, red and white; and black and yellow. Each canvas-and-rubber sneaker boasts the EVH logo on the sole, insole and back, as well as a separate "5150" logo also in the back. All three varieties are priced at $49.
In addition, an EVH beach towel featuring the black-red-and-white-striped design also is being sold now, at a list price of $45. The 30-by-60-inch towel is 100-percent cotton, and also is embossed with the EVH logo.
