APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) - A judge in Outagamie County has sentenced a Lawrence University student three years probation and 100 hours of community service in a bunny theft.

20-year-old Theodore Benner was convicted of a reduced count of possession of burglary tools.

Judge Nancy Krueger ruled that Benner's record will be cleared if he completes the terms of his sentence. Benner must also complete drug counseling for several misdemeanor drug counts where were dismissed as part of a plea deal

The bunny, Twinkle, was stolen from the day care at Memorial Presbyterian Church. Police found it in Benner's room while responding to an unrelated call.
