The Green Bay Gamblers blanked the Waterloo Blackhawks 3-0 Tuesday night before 1577 fans at the Resch Center in what turned out to be a milestone game for goaltender Ryan McKay.  McKay turned aside 25 shots to post his 4th shutout of the season but more importantly, recorded his 54th regular season victory, breaking the Gambler franchise record held by Jurre Penko since 2001.  Alex Broadhurst put Green Bay in front with a goal midway through the first period and that tally stood until the Gamblers netted a pair in the final 6 minutes of the second.  Sheldon Dries and Sam Herr both found the net amidst scrambles in front for a 3-0 lead heading into the final period.  The Gamblers defense in front of McKay was solid, limiting second chances and going four for four on the penalty kill.  Green Bay improved to 9-0 after a loss on the season, never falling in back to back games and running their USHL Eastern Division lead to 11 points at 30-7-2, the best record in the league.  The Gamblers return home to face the Chicago Steel Saturday night in the 13th annual Teddy Bear toss game.   Fans bringing new teddy bears to the game get to throw them onto the rink after Green Bay's first goal and the players then distribute them to children in area hospitals.
