APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) - Police in Grand Chute have arrested a woman in connection with the death of a man found at a hotel Tuesday.
34-year-old Mastella Jackson of Appleton was booked into the Outagamie County Jail at 4:26 a.m. on a charge of first-degree intentional homicide, according to the jail lockup report.
The county district attorney's office says the arrested is related to the murder at the Road Star Inn, but she won't appear in court until Thursday afternoon. No charges have been filed.
Police were called to the hotel Tuesday afternoon. A man in his 40s was found dead with multiple stab wounds.
Grand Chute Police Chief Greg Peterson said it appeared the suspect and victim struggled with each other. The victim's name has not been released.
